Our Rating:

4.25 Stars (4.25 / 5)

The 3M 39008 Headlight Lens Restoration System is a great starter kit and will give you great results.  This kit utilizes a household drill and greatly improves the results you can achieve.  Using a drill while performing a headlight restoration helps minimize the amount of “elbow grease” required for a restoration.  A drill will also aid in the removal of stubborn oxidation by allowing you to sand at a higher rpm than your hand can achieve.  We recommend purchasing some 3M tape to help avoid accidental sanding of any paint surrounding your headlights.  This kit does not include a headlight sealant, and we recommend purchasing one.  If you do not have a drill, consider checking out our list of headlight restoration kits that don’t require tools.
